The Element topside cheeseplate is designed to span the gap between the front and rear top rod mounts. As its name implies it is covered in holes, both 1/4-20 and 3/8-16. The 1/4-20 holes utilize the same spacing as RED´s top mounts. The 3/8-16 holes are on Arri spacing and run along the top and sides of the plate. It is compatible with both the 19mm top rod mounts from RED as well as the 15mm top rod mounts from Element and is a must have for low-mode Steadicam operation. Our cheese plate has been tested with low-mode plates from Tiffen, PRO and Greg Bubb.
