This combo IRND 0.6 filter provides two stops of neutral density while protecting from IR pollution.

Tiffen´s Hot Mirror and IRND filters are designed to cut out infrared polution that can lead to color shifting in the recorded image. Because users tend to use neutral density on digital cameras to maintain a narrow depth of field, the ration between the visible spectrum and the infrared spectrum can change dramatically.

Tiffen IRND filters provide a true neutral density beyond the visible range into the near infra-red. IRND filters incorporate Tiffen’s unique ColorCore™ technology that sandwiches the coating within the filter and allows for easy cleaning without fear of damaging the filter as with surface coated filters.
